Gender Action Day
The Gender Action Day provides a platform for collaboration among WMO Members and partners to enhance women's leadership in disaster and climate risk reduction. The agenda of the Day includes interactive learning sessions and strategic discussions on mainstreaming gender-responsive multi-hazard early warning systems through the Early Warnings for All initiative.

The climate crisis is not gender neutral
The climate crisis is far from “gender neutral”. Women and men are affected differently by weather and climate, and therefore need gender-sensitive information and services, WMO Secretary-General Celeste Saulo said in a keynote address.
