Sebastian Hahn received the B.Sc. degree in geodesy and geoinformatic engineering and the M.Sc. degree in geodesy and geophysics from the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien), in 2009 and 2011, respectively. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in microwave remote sensing at TU Wien. He joined the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformation at TU Wien (Vienna, Austria) in 2009, where he currently serves as a Senior Scientist. His research focuses on remote sensing of land surfaces using active microwave instruments, developing soil moisture retrieval algorithms, and advancing software engineering for remote sensing data services.
