The ECMWF AI Weather Quest is a global competition designed to push the boundaries of sub-seasonal forecasting using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). Recognised as a WIPPS Pilot Project approved by WMO Commission for Observation, Infrastructure and Information Systems (INFCOM), this initiative fosters innovation and interaction between National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs), AI/ML experts, researchers, and private sector entities.
