Gustavo de Carvalho Figueiroa

Gustavo is a Biologist, a specialist in Wildlife Management and Conservation, and has another postgraduate degree in progress in Public Science Communication. Since 2019 he has been part of the SOS Pantanal Institute, where he is currently Director of Communication and Engagement. Gustavo has been on the frontline of the wildfires of 2020, 2021, and recently 2023 in the Pantanal, working with wildlife rescue, firefighting, and documenting & publishing field-based information.
