Kaushik Sethuraman
Kaushik Sethuraman is the Head of Technical Program Management for Meta’s Social Impact organization, which invests in socially important topics like civic, equity, fundraising, and crisis initiatives. He has influenced product strategy and vision, and led the development and execution of several products that make a positive impact to millions of global communities over the past 6 years. A few products he manages include Crisis Response & Safety Check, which brings resilience through alerting, communications, community help, and fundraising options to communities hit with natural disasters; and research explorations of an Early Warning System, a pilot feature to help bring awareness and attention to imminent extreme weather events.
Kaushik also serves as an Advisor at Stanford Seed, helping with innovation in developing economies in Africa and Asia. Previously, he led Product Strategy & Management at Microsoft, for 15 years, where he built and influenced products for Office, Bing Search/Ads, Cloud Services, and Windows PC/Mobile.
He did his undergraduate studies at Bangalore University, and graduate work at Wright State in Computer Science & Engineering. He also holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business and Innovation and Entrepreneurship studies from Stanford. He loves to ideate at the intersection of social intent and technology innovation.
