Tropical Cyclone Operational Plans
The Tropical Cyclone Operational Plans (Operational Manual for the Typhoon Committee) describe the agreed comprehensive arrangements for the ongoing provision of meteorological observations, telecommunication facilities, exchange of data and products, forecasting and warning services. They demonstrate in a practical way the benefit of the high level of regional cooperation achieved.
The Operational Plans for the coordination of tropical cyclone (TC) warning services across each Region remain the most important and significant responsibility for the TC regional bodies.
