3rd 2050Today High-Level meeting

WMO and « 2050 Today » are delighted to invite you to assist to a high-level event and panel on the impact of climate change on health, human rights and refugees, with:
- Dr. Maria Neira, Director of the Health and Climate Department, World Health Organization.
- Nada Al-Nashif, United Nations Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights
- Andrew Harper, Special Advisor of the High Commissioner on Climate Action, UNHCR – the UN Refugee Agency
- Celeste Saulo, Secretary-General of the World Meteorological Organization
The panel will raise awareness on the fast-increasing vulnerabilities linked to the global climate crisis and the multifaceted consequences on health, human rights, and displacement. It will offer insights into how the international community can respond and inspire coordinated global action, foster dialogue, and promote cross-sector collaboration to tackle climate change as one of the most pressing challenges of our time.
This panel is part of the 3rd 2050Today High-Level meeting, including a first part on the adoption of climate action plans by the International Geneva institutions and a humorous show on the evolution of our eating habits over the centuries.
