Satellite Expert, Italian Civil Protection

Nicoletta Roberto is a Satellite Expert at the Italian Civil Protection Department, where she has worked since June 2022 on technical-scientific activities related to risk forecasting and prevention. She serves as Cluster Leader of the international “Product Usage and User Outreach” group within the EUMETSAT Hydrology Satellite Application Facility (H SAF), and is involved in both operational hydrological monitoring and satellite policy coordination. Nicoletta has authored over 30 scientific papers and book chapters and has several experiences in organizing specialized training contexts.
